Carolyn Schmidt: Biography
International Documentary Television Corporation, DOCTV, was incorporated in 1997, to produce various television documentary specials and series for a variety of network clients. It is 100% owned by Robert Duncan and the Brown-Duncan Family Trust.
The original corporate entity, Robert Duncan Productions Inc., was incorporated in Quebec in 1978.
In 1989, after eleven years in Montreal as a freelance production company, Robert Duncan Productions Inc. moved to Vancouver, British Columbia.
Since then, as Duncan Productions Inc. or DOCTV, we have continued to produce network shows for a variety of clients including CTV, CBC, CANWEST GLOBAL, HISTORY TELEVISION, DISCOVERY CHANNEL, PBS and HBO.
